Masala papad is a starter snack of crisp fried papads topped with a masala filling of onions, tomatoes and spices. Masala papad is an easy to make Punjabi snack or starter made with papad, onion, tomatoes, green chilies, coriander leaves. It is basically a quick easy onion tomato salad served on a crispy roasted or fried papad. This is a very popular and famous starter in Punjabi restaurants and dhabas.

Masala papad is one of the most favored of current trending meals on earth. It’s appreciated by millions every day. It’s simple, it’s quick, it tastes delicious. Masala papad is something which I have loved my entire life. They are nice and they look wonderful.

  1. Make ready Urad dal papad
  2. Prepare 1 small carrot

  7. Get 2 tbspoon sev
  8. Prepare Oil for frying
  9. Take 1/2 tspoon salt

  11. Make ready 1/2 tspoon red chilli powder

It is so simple and easy recipe that you can make it at home. Masala Papad is my favorite snack. Sometimes I enjoyed it as an evening snack. Masala papad recipe - Crispy papad topped with spiced onion-tomato mixture.

Instructions to make Masala papad:
  1. Grate carrot,chop tomato,onion and coariander leaves
  2. I have used homemade papad.heat oil and fry papad.in bowl mix veggies and salt,chat masala, Schezwan chutney.mix well.and spread on papad.
  3. Serve after garnishing with sev and coariander leaves.

For making masala papad, I have roasted the papad on tawa using very little oil. While in the restaurants, they deep fry the papad.
