When Yee Sang is eaten, the ritual is to toss the mixed ingredients high in the air with a shout of "Loh Hey" which literally means to 'move upwards'.

Steps to make Celebration YeeSang:
  1. Thinly julienne all vegetable
  2. Divide 2 the tapioca root, colour with green and red food colouring and crispy fried both
  3. Arrange all ingredients on a big round dish plate
  4. Mix the plum sauce with water to lighten it a bit
  5. Pour the sauce on top of the arranged veggies, sprinkle some sesame seed
  6. Toss thoroughly with all friends for a prosperous new year!! 😉
